I’m Kristen, a Vermont family and equine photographer, farmer, mom, and horse owner. Living a life surrounded by family and animals has taught me how quickly the ordinary parts of life become the ones we wish we could return to.
That shapes the way I photograph. I give you room to be yourselves and pay attention to the moments that happen in between, creating photographs that feel familiar because they actually feel like you.

There are parts of your relationship with your horse that belong only to the two of you. An understanding built over time that doesn’t need to be put into words. That is what I want your photographs to hold onto.
I give equine sessions time to unfold without forcing every moment. Your horse gets to be a horse, leaving space for your relationship to come through naturally.
My own life with horses has shaped the way I approach these sessions. I understand that sometimes the most meaningful photograph comes from simply giving them time and paying attention to what is already there.
